Business Excellence Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Business Excellence Manager to lead optimisation and process‑improvement initiatives across Hungry Lion’s operations. The role combines analytical, engineering and financial expertise to identify bottlenecks, lower unit costs and increase throughput for our multi‑country restaurant network.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional improvement projects, diagnose operational bottlenecks and build business cases using NPV, IRR and pay‑back analysis.
• Design and roll out management systems that embed sustainable behavioural change rather than short‑term compliance.
• Conduct post‑implementation audits to verify that realised results match the projected financial benefits.
• Coordinate technical, operational and business teams to ensure seamless hand‑over and project continuity.
• Perform structural risk assessments on capital spend and assets to protect timelines and returns.

Required profile

• BEng or BSc in Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical or Process Engineering.
• MBA with a focus on finance or business optimisation (preferred).
• 3‑5 years of experience blending industry exposure with management‑consulting delivery.
• Proven track record of delivering quantifiable cost reductions, throughput gains or efficiency improvements.

Required skills

• Advanced data analytics – ability to transform complex, unstructured data into actionable insights.
• Financial modelling – regular use of NPV, IRR, variable and fixed‑cost analysis.
• Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities.
