Business Development Representative – Pipeline (Kimberley Depot)

About the role

The role focuses on driving volume growth, increasing market share and enhancing competitiveness by delivering market‑driven, differentiated service to targeted segments. You will work to ensure our products are well‑stocked and prominently displayed, while supervising distributors and monitoring competition. This position is based at the SAB Kimberley Depot and reports to the regional sales manager.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets for assigned areas.
• Manage and supervise distributors of the assigned sector (order, payment, re‑distribution).
• Ensure IB products are available in reasonable stock (complete range) in customers and retail outlets.
• Ensure chillers are properly placed in performing outlets and used exclusively for IBPLC products.
• Monitor the recommended price of our product at sales outlets.
• Closely monitor actions of the competition.

Required profile

• 3‑year degree qualification.
• At least 2 years' experience in sales/marketing/FMCG environment.
• Valid unendorsed Code 8 driver’s licence.
• Basic computer literacy and experience working with Microsoft Office.
• Local area knowledge is a requirement.
• Excellent administration skills.
