About the role
The Business Development Representative will drive volume growth, increase market share and enhance competitiveness by delivering market‑driven, differentiated service within the Empangeni depot area. You will ensure product availability, manage distributor relationships and monitor pricing and competition.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets for assigned areas.
- Manage and supervise distributors (order, payment, re‑distribution).
- Ensure IB products are stocked in a complete range at customers and retail outlets.
- Place chillers in performing outlets and ensure exclusive use for IBPLC products.
- Monitor recommended product pricing at sales outlets.
- Track competitor actions closely.
Required profile
- 3‑year degree qualification.
- At least 2 years’ experience in sales, marketing or FMCG.
- Valid unendorsed Code 8 driver’s licence.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office.
- Local area knowledge.
- Excellent administration skills.
