Business Development Officer – MSHEQ

About the role

The Business Development Officer for MSHEQ will drive new revenue opportunities for Lupiwe Solutions in the health and safety consulting market. You will identify prospects, build relationships and ensure smooth hand‑over to consulting and training teams.

Key responsibilities

• Source and prospect new business across Johannesburg and surrounding regions.
• Research potential clients, arrange introductory meetings and present MSHEQ solutions.
• Prepare and deliver quotations, ensuring invoices and commission sheets are accurate and timely.
• Maintain client relationships, including in‑person visits and regular follow‑ups.
• Update sales data in the CRM and track weekly KPI targets.
• Coordinate with consulting and training departments for seamless client onboarding.
• Manage sales administration tasks such as responding to emails within 24 hours, updating quote files daily, and ensuring all contracts include approved terms and SLAs.

Required profile

• Matric certificate and SAMTRAC certification.
• 3–5 years of sales experience and at least 2 years in health and safety consulting.
• Reliable car, valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel.
• Proficiency in English and at least one other South African national language.
• Computer literacy and ability to work independently.
