Business Development Manager – Specialised Operations (Security Industry)

About the role

We are seeking a results‑driven Business Development Manager to lead sales growth within our Specialised Solutions Division. The role focuses on high‑value commodity protection, secure logistics, cash‑in‑transit, precious metals, mining, close protection, and high‑risk security sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales growth and expand market share in the specialised security segment.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key decision‑makers and industry stakeholders.
• Identify and pursue opportunities related to protection and transportation of high‑value assets.
• Generate leads through networking, market engagement, referrals, and targeted business development initiatives.
• Prepare and present compelling proposals, tender responses, and customised security solutions.
• Maintain and grow strategic client accounts while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and close new business opportunities.
• Promote the company’s specialised services across security, logistics, mining, and high‑risk industries.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (Diploma in Sales & Marketing advantageous).
• 5–7 years proven business development and sales experience.
• Strong track record in generating revenue and securing new business within specialised security services.
• Established network within security, logistics, mining, precious metals, cash‑in‑transit, or high‑risk operational sectors.
• Experience in solution design, risk mitigation, and client‑centric security offerings.
• PSIRA registration, valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
• Computer literacy.
