Business Development Manager – BDR Team Lead

About the role
Mastercard Services is looking for a proven Business Development leader to build and scale a high‑performing Business Development Representative (BDR) team across Asia and the EEMEA region. You will design processes, frameworks and playbooks from scratch while actively coaching your team on prospecting techniques.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and manage BDRs based in multiple APAC and EEMEA locations, fostering a high‑performance culture.
- Design and implement outreach cadences, playbooks, onboarding programs and performance frameworks for the BDR function.
- Coach the team on cold calling, email sequencing and LinkedIn outreach, providing live call reviews and objection‑handling workshops.
- Tailor prospecting strategies to local business cultures, languages and buyer dynamics.
- Build strong internal relationships across Mastercard’s extensive product portfolio and matrixed organization.
- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging sales methodologies.
Required profile
- Demonstrated success as a BDR or outbound sales professional.
- Experience building and scaling a BDR or sales development team from the ground up.
- Ability to navigate complex, global organizations and influence diverse stakeholder groups.
- Strong analytical mindset with a focus on creating and improving processes.
- Excellent communication skills and cultural adaptability across APAC, Europe, Middle East and Africa.
