Business Development Executive

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Executive to join a UK‑based construction materials and merchant services organisation. Working remotely from South Africa, you will drive merchant engagement, promote commercial campaigns and support revenue growth through high‑volume outbound outreach.

Key responsibilities

• Make high‑volume outbound calls to merchants and suppliers to promote campaigns and initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants, suppliers and key stakeholders.
• Communicate the value proposition and commercial benefits of promotional programmes.
• Identify opportunities to maximise campaign performance and drive participation.
• Support customer onboarding and follow‑up related to campaign participation.
• Collaborate with the external sales team to align activities with business priorities.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and outcomes in CRM systems.
• Monitor and report on campaign performance metrics and consistently meet activity targets.
