About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Consultant to drive new client acquisition and revenue growth for our Cape Town office. You will work in a hybrid environment, spending two days a week on‑site while managing inbound and outbound sales activities remotely.

Key responsibilities

  • Handle inbound leads via phone and email, follow up, and conduct client meetings.
  • Prepare and build proposals for new clients and maintain the OCFO CRM system.
  • Research latest business developments, sales techniques and integrate them into our processes.
  • Contribute to top‑line revenue growth by meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Generate lead lists, support outbound campaigns, and manage the tech stack for lead generation.
  • Identify new target markets through research and development.

Required profile

  • Marketing or Business Management Diploma/Certificate.
  • 5–8 years of experience in sales and business development.
  • Proven success selling to founders, C‑suite executives or senior decision‑makers.
  • Strong ability to build trust, communicate value and close high‑ticket, consultative deals.
  • Comfortable conducting virtual discovery sessions and closing deals remotely.
  • Alignment with company values, high ethical standards and stakeholder management skills.

What we offer

  • Competitive salary ranging from R40 000 to R55 000 per month plus commission.
