Business Development and Strategic Accounts Manager

About the role

Our client, a leading player in the telecommunications industry, is seeking a commercially driven sales professional to join their growing team. This strategic position blends winning new business with nurturing key client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities across retail, corporate, reseller, distribution and enterprise markets.
• Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline through networking, prospecting and relationship building.
• Lead the sales process from initial contact through proposal, negotiation and deal closure.
• Grow existing customer accounts by identifying revenue‑boosting opportunities with additional products and solutions.
• Develop strong relationships with key decision‑makers and become a trusted business partner.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as Operations, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain to ensure excellent customer delivery.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to uncover new commercial opportunities.
• Achieve monthly and annual revenue targets while maintaining accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reporting.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in business development, strategic sales or account management.
• Proven track record of consistently winning new business and expanding existing accounts.
• Experience in telecommunications, consumer electronics, fintech or a similarly fast‑paced commercial environment is advantageous.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
