Business Centre Manager

About the role

Capitec Bank is expanding its Business division across South Africa and is looking for a Business Centre Manager to lead a high‑performing team. You will be responsible for driving sales, managing client relationships and ensuring the profitability of the centre.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 10‑20 employees, fostering a strong sales and service culture.
• Drive sales performance, implement marketing strategies and grow the client portfolio.
• Prepare and motivate credit applications, manage budgets, forecasting and cost control.
• Assess credit, financial and industry risks while ensuring compliance with banking regulations.
• Monitor business performance, profitability and revenue growth against targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years banking experience, including at least 3 years in Business Banking and 3 years in a managerial role.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Business Management, Finance or related field (NQF Level 6 or higher).
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, cost control and managing a profitable cost centre.
• Strong knowledge of Business Banking products, credit principles and risk assessment.
