Business Analyst – Process Improvement & Data Analytics

About the role

The Business Analyst will evaluate and improve business operations through data analysis, process design, and technology solutions. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications and drive process optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements through workshops, interviews and surveys.
• Analyse existing processes, identify inefficiencies and recommend automation or cost‑saving strategies.
• Design and implement reports, dashboards and KPIs to support decision‑making.
• Coordinate communication between business users and technical teams, ensuring alignment on project scope, timelines and risks.
• Support project delivery, including test planning, user acceptance testing and documentation of system designs.

Required profile

• Matric certificate and a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent (NQF level 7).
• Minimum three years of experience in business analysis, process improvement or a related discipline.
• Professional certification such as CBAP or Agile/Scrum certification is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
