Bus Driver / Driver Conductor (Full-Time)

About the role

Buscor (Pty) Ltd, the leading bus commuter company in the Lowveld, is seeking qualified Bus Drivers or Driver Conductors for its Malelane and Komatipoort depots. This full‑time position involves transporting passengers safely and efficiently across designated routes.

Key responsibilities

• Operate heavy‑duty buses on scheduled routes, adhering to timetables.
• Ensure passenger safety, comfort, and proper conduct during journeys.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and report any defects.
• Maintain accurate trip logs and passenger records.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and passengers.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 10 EC or EC104 qualification.
• Valid Code 14 driver’s licence held for at least three years.
• Current Public Passenger Driver’s Permit (PrDP).
• 3–4 years experience driving heavy‑duty vehicles.
• NCPD qualification or certificate.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Clean criminal record and traceable references.
• Medically fit to perform driving duties.
