Building Projects Clerk – 36‑Month Fixed‑Term Role

About the role
The Building Projects Clerk will perform a full range of engineering work to protect Rand Water’s existing servitudes, pipelines and ancillary structures. Working within the SAM division, the role supports optimal asset performance and integrated engineering designs while ensuring compliance with Rand Water policies, standards and specifications.
Key responsibilities
- Execute varied engineering tasks under supervision and independently.
- Protect pipelines and ancillary structures from potential damage.
- Coordinate with external authorities and organisations to accommodate their requirements.
- Contribute to the development of integrated engineering designs and asset performance optimisation.
- Support exceptional customer service and engineering management of Rand Water’s servitudes.
Required profile
- Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to standards.
- Good communication skills for interaction with external authorities.
