Brand Manager (Retail Apparel)

About the role

Our client, a leading family apparel retailer, is looking for a Brand Manager to join their dynamic marketing team in Durban. The role will drive strategic marketing initiatives, blend collaborations, activations and customer insights, and ensure campaigns both inspire audiences and deliver measurable business results.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive omnichannel marketing and content strategies across digital, print and in‑store channels.
• Lead multi‑channel campaign planning, activation, reporting and seasonal rollouts.
• Collaborate with agencies, suppliers and internal teams to deliver innovative marketing solutions.
• Analyse customer insights and emerging trends to strengthen brand positioning and drive growth.
• Maintain marketing calendars and support in‑store marketing execution.

Required profile

• Grade 12/Matric with a qualification in Marketing, Brand Management, Communications or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in digital marketing or brand strategy.
• 3–5 years of experience in brand management, integrated marketing or marketing coordination.
• Proven experience in retail marketing environments and multi‑channel campaign execution.
• Experience working with marketing agencies and suppliers.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital platforms such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and basic Google advertising tools.
• Experience using email marketing tools.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for reporting.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint for presentations.
