Brand Manager / Key Accounts Manager (SB 33)

About the role

Our client, a results‑driven creative marketing and advertising agency, is looking for a Brand Manager / Key Accounts Manager to lead a portfolio of client brands from Faerie Glen, Pretoria. The role combines strategic brand thinking with hands‑on account management to ensure campaigns are delivered on time, on brief and generate measurable growth for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for an allocated portfolio of clients.
• Build strong, professional and trusted client relationships.
• Develop a clear understanding of each client’s business, industry, audience, objectives and priorities.
• Manage client expectations honestly and professionally.
• Respond promptly and accurately to client communications.
• Address concerns before they develop into larger issues.
• Maintain a consistently high standard of client service and support client retention.
• Identify appropriate account growth opportunities.
• Translate client requirements into clear, accurate and actionable briefs.
• Ensure internal teams have all necessary information, assets, approvals and context to execute.
• Coordinate work across strategy, design, copywriting, social media, digital advertising, video, web and other departments.
• Confirm responsibilities, priorities, deadlines and deliverables with relevant team members.
• Track projects, campaigns, deliverables and approvals from briefing through to completion.
• Maintain accurate timelines, task lists and project records.
• Monitor progress, identify delays or risks early and keep work aligned with approved scope and client objectives.
• Coordinate internal reviews before presenting work to the client and ensure final deliverables meet the brief and quality expectations.
