Brand Management Intern

About the role

Join Philip Morris International’s Early Careers Programme as a Brand Management Intern in Cape Town. You will work on real brand and commercial projects, collaborate with expert teams, and gain hands‑on exposure to fast‑moving FMCG brand management.

Key responsibilities

• Support the execution of approved brand and marketing plans, including presentations, reporting packs and performance updates.
• Gather market data, competitor activity and consumer insights to inform brand reviews.
• Assist with product and packaging projects, artwork reviews, and documentation within the PMI Product Lifecycle Management system.
• Coordinate commercial plan implementation, marketing support material planning and trade‑marketing activities.
• Monitor in‑market execution against brand guidelines and engage with internal teams and external agency partners.

Required profile

• South African citizen.
• Passionate about marketing, consumer engagement and innovation.
• Ambitious, curious and commercially minded.
• Available to start immediately and commit to a 12‑month internship.
