Brand and Content Manager

About the role

Mergon is seeking a Brand and Content Manager who can blend strategic brand thinking with hands‑on content creation. Working closely with the Head of Communications, you will shape and produce high‑quality content that reflects the Mergon narrative while protecting the brand across all touchpoints.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualise, write and produce high‑quality content that engages audiences, builds the brand, and tells the Mergon story with clarity and consistency.
• Manage social media presence—from content ideation and creation to scheduling, publishing, and community engagement.
• Monitor, report, and analyse the effectiveness of day‑to‑day communications and campaigns across all platforms, feeding insights back into strategy.
• Manage and optimise paid digital advertising campaigns.
• Oversee relationships with stakeholders, including briefing and supervising contractors and suppliers.
• Stay current with digital marketing trends, platform developments, and emerging AI technologies, applying them to Mergon’s communications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant diploma in marketing, brand management or digital communications.
• 3+ years of experience in marketing and communications with a proven track record in campaign conceptualisation, implementation and performance management.
• Alignment with Mergon’s Christian values and ethos.

Required skills

• Design tools: Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar.
• Presentation software: Keynote, PowerPoint.
• Analytics and advertising platforms: Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager.
• Social media content creation and web content management tools.
• Email marketing platforms.
• Video editing software (Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut) – advantageous.
