About the role

Icebolethu FSP, a division of Icebolethu Group, is seeking a Branch Supervisor for its Umthatha branch. The role is permanent and involves overseeing daily operations, leading sales teams and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Retention of clientele
• Supervising and managing daily branch operations
• Leading, coaching, and mentoring sales teams to achieve targets
• Setting and monitoring individual and team sales goals
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Handling escalated customer queries and resolving complaints effectively
• Implementing sales strategies and promotional campaigns
• Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
• Overseeing risk management and ensuring proper documentation processes
• Driving customer service excellence and improving client satisfaction levels

Required profile

• Grade 12
• 2–3 years’ experience in financial services
• Business Management, Marketing, or related tertiary qualifications
• Clear ITC and clear criminal record
• Own reliable transport and cell phone
• RE‑5 or RE‑1 qualification (advantageous)
• Proven success in the marketing of Life Assurance
