Branch Manager – Moruleng

About the role

Sanlam Developing Markets (SDM) is a leading financial services provider in South Africa, focusing on entry‑level and emerging middle‑market customers. We are seeking a Branch Manager for our Moruleng branch to drive growth, lead a team of Sales Consultants and ensure an excellent client experience.

Key responsibilities

• Grow the customer base and revenue of Sanlam Retail Mass by developing and executing the branch strategy.
• Guide, integrate and standardise activities, goals and objectives of Sales Consultants in line with the strategy.
• Lead a service‑delivery culture to enable an optimal client experience.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations, business planning and sales delivery of the retail branch.
• Ensure compliance, quality and risk management.
• Oversee people practices for direct reports in collaboration with HR.
• Plan and report monthly sales and service activities.
• Identify and engage key internal and external stakeholders to build relationships.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) with RE1 and RE5, plus 120 Wealth Management credits or a tertiary qualification recognised by the FSCA.
• At least 5 years recent industry experience, including 3 years in a leadership capacity.
• Service management, insurance sales, and credit/lending experience.
• Current Class of Business accreditation and continuous professional development compliance.
