Branch Manager – Logistics Operations

About the role

Our client, a leading organisation in the logistics and supply chain sector, is looking for an experienced Branch Manager to lead the operational, financial and people performance of one of its branches. The role involves overseeing the entire branch operation, ensuring exceptional customer service, operational efficiency, cost control, compliance and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the branch operational plan aligned with company strategy.
• Manage daily operations to meet service delivery targets and optimise fleet, equipment and staff utilisation.
• Oversee route planning, monitor KPIs and take corrective actions as needed.
• Control operating costs, budgets and ensure accurate system updates and reporting.
• Maintain Health & Safety standards and ensure compliance with company policies and audits.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, suppliers and service providers.
• Lead, motivate and develop branch employees, manage recruitment, performance and labour budgets.
• Identify and implement process improvements and business improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Branch Manager or similar role within logistics or supply chain.
• Strong operational leadership and people‑management capabilities.
• Ability to analyse performance data and drive continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of health & safety, compliance and audit processes.
