About the role
The Branch Manager will lead a retail outlet, ensuring excellent customer service and strong financial performance. Reporting to the Area Manager, the role involves frequent travel, marketing activities, and direct interaction with customers and staff.
Key responsibilities
- Drive sales turnover and meet targets.
- Conduct ongoing marketing, sales research and product analysis.
- Attend and promote at shows, exhibits and events.
- Manage stock control and daily depot functions.
- Oversee depot vehicles, equipment and overall costs.
- Handle personal time and task management effectively.
Required profile
- Managerial experience in a fast‑pace retail outlet.
- Strong proven sales background.
- Knowledge of plumbing and building materials (advantageous).
- Physically fit with no underlying medical issues.
- Valid driver’s licence and sober habits.
Required skills
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Computer literacy.
