Branch Manager

About the role

Oversee and manage the Durban branch, ensuring service excellence, profit generation, and timely movement of shipments while keeping clients informed.

Key responsibilities

• Take full responsibility and accountability for the performance of the Durban branch.
• Lead and manage the team, including managers, supervisors and operational staff.
• Oversee air, ocean, road, invoicing and warehousing operations.
• Drive profitability, positive cash flow, customer engagement and service excellence.
• Manage budgets, P&L, cost control, CAPEX and branch expenditure.
• Monitor operational KPIs and performance standards.
• Manage key client relationships and service‑provider performance.
• Drive continuous improvement, automation and operational efficiencies.
• Maintain strong compliance, quality and ISO standards.

Required profile

• Matric with Mathematics.
• Diploma or degree in Logistics Management, Transport and Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years’ branch management experience with full financial control.
• Experience across all logistics modes and warehouse management.
• At least 10 years’ senior management experience.
• Strong background in rates, estimates and key account management.
