Branch Controller – Operations & Digital Migration

About the role

As a Branch Controller you will oversee branch resources, operational policies and processes to maximise sales, mitigate risk and deliver excellent customer experiences. You will lead digital migration initiatives and ensure compliance with audit and governance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Drive and monitor branch operations to achieve maximum effectiveness.
• Lead digital migration initiatives and promote customer adoption of electronic banking.
• Ensure adherence to audit requirements, governance, compliance and risk mitigation processes.
• Identify opportunities to grow the customer base with creditworthy and profitable customers.
• Optimise service delivery processes to enhance customer satisfaction and reduce costs.
• Manage and develop branch staff, fostering engagement and performance excellence.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12/NQF Level 4; preferred NQF Level 5 Certificate in Banking, Business Management or related field.
• 4–5 years of experience in branch operations or a similar environment.
• Strong understanding of branch audit processes and risk management.
• Proven ability to drive operational effectiveness and support digital migration.
• Experience coaching and leading high‑performing teams.
