Branch Consultant - Wellington

About the role

The Branch Consultant will promote Sanlam Retail Mass (SRM) products, delivering sound financial advice and high‑level client service within a branch environment. You will create optimisation opportunities, cross‑sell value‑added services and help grow market share.

Key responsibilities

• Promote SRM products and increase market share through expert financial advice and client service.
• Create opportunities for client optimisation and cross‑selling of value‑added services.
• Deliver retail branch sales, ensure client retention and provide in‑branch service.
• Maintain compliance, quality standards and risk‑management protocols.
• Plan and report monthly on sales and service activities.
• Identify and engage key internal and external stakeholders to build strong relationships.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in sales or marketing; insurance‑branch experience advantageous.
• Matric (Grade 12) qualification; RE5 and FAIS compliance preferred.
• Strong knowledge of client service, sales and cross‑selling tactics, and the insurance landscape, including regulatory requirements.
• Persistent focus on targets, analytical mindset, critical thinking, and excellent communication skills.
• Organisational ability, adaptability and a willingness to learn.
