Branch Consultant / Financial Advisor (Seshego)

About the role

Sanlam Developing Markets is looking for a Branch Consultant/Financial Advisor to join its Seshego branch. The role focuses on promoting Sanlam Retail Mass products, providing sound financial advice, and increasing market share through excellent client service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide sound financial advice and high‑level client service in a branch setting, promoting Sanlam Retail Mass products.
• Identify client needs, recommend suitable insurance and savings solutions, and cross‑sell value‑added products.
• Manage client onboarding, validate details, submit new business, and conduct due‑diligence to flag risks.
• Service existing client portfolios, send payment reminders, handle queries, and ensure policy continuance.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and quality standards, log activities, and report daily/weekly performance.

Required profile

• Minimum Matric (Grade 12) with at least 1 year of sales or marketing experience; insurance branch experience is an advantage.
• FAIS compliance (Wealth Management) as per DOFA requirements; RE5 qualification advantageous.
• Ability to manage appointments, prioritize walk‑ins, and meet daily targets.
