Branch Consultant / Financial Advisor (George)

About the role

The Branch Consultant/Financial Advisor will promote Sanlam Retail Mass products, provide sound financial advice and deliver a high level of client service within a branch environment in George.

Key responsibilities

• Gain deep knowledge of SRM product ranges and match them to customers' financial goals and means.
• Submit new business, validate client details, conduct due diligence and manage risk in line with regulatory requirements.
• Service existing client profiles, send payment reminders, manage persistency and handle policy cancellations or changes.
• Maintain compliance with quality standards, keep CPD points up to date and log all advisory activities.
• Report daily activities, collate data for weekly/monthly reporting and support the Retail Branch Manager with ad‑hoc tasks.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) qualification; RE5 advantageous; FAIS compliant (Wealth Management) as per DOFA requirements; Class of Business training to be completed within 12 months.
• Strong client‑focused mindset with the ability to understand needs, provide appropriate solutions and maintain long‑term relationships while adhering to compliance and quality standards.
