Bookkeeper – Swellendam Area

About the role
We are seeking a diligent Bookkeeper to join the finance team at our fresh‑fruit production unit in the Swellendam area. You will support a leading grower, packer and exporter of citrus and table grapes, ensuring accurate financial records and smooth payroll processes.
Key responsibilities
- Process and reconcile financial transactions, including debtors, creditors, wages, inventory and journal entries.
- Administer payroll data and prepare electronic payments.
- Perform ad‑hoc accounting tasks as required.
Required profile
- Post‑matric qualification with a relevant financial tertiary credential.
- Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably within the farming or agricultural sector.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience using an accounting software package.
