About the role

A well-known South African brand and market leader is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join its finance team through The Link Recruitment. This is a maternity cover role on a fixed-term basis, with the possibility of becoming permanent.

Required profile

Minimum of 5 years' experience in a full-time bookkeeping role, preferably in a medium to large enterprise environment.
Diploma in finance or post-matric development programme.
Strong numerical and analytical skills, high accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to meet deadlines, manage competing priorities and work independently within a finance team.
Integrity, discretion and confidentiality; good written and verbal communication.

Required skills

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Experience with foreign currency is advantageous.
Reconciliation and problem-solving abilities.
