About the role
The Bookkeeper role at CalPharm (Pty) Ltd is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Centurion. It involves maintaining accurate financial records, processing daily transactions and posting journal entries.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and post journal entries.
- Process daily transactions and manage invoices.
- Prepare and reconcile accounts, including bank, creditor and debtor reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulations.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable and support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
- Collaborate with the finance team to provide timely financial information to management.
Required profile
- Matriculation is mandatory.
- Post‑matric bookkeeping diploma or a bachelor's degree in accounting (desirable).
- Minimum of three years’ bookkeeping experience.
- Own car for commuting.
Required skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., Omni Software or similar).
- Ability to perform bank, creditor and debtor reconciliations.
