Bar Manager – The Excelsior Florence

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Bar Manager to lead the bar team at The Excelsior Florence, a Luxury Collection hotel. The role combines delivering exceptional guest experiences with overseeing daily bar operations, ensuring high standards of service, quality, and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and serve guests, taking orders and delivering drinks with a focus on memorable experiences.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth service flow.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including supplies and equipment.
• Manage inventory, stock levels, and place orders for beverages.
• Handle cash and electronic transactions accurately.
• Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards, including safe lifting and movement of items up to 25 lb unassisted.
• Train and mentor junior staff, fostering a professional and courteous team environment.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Less than one year of related hospitality experience.
• No prior supervisory experience required.
• Ability to work on feet for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 lb.
