Back End Developer (Advanced) – Node.js, AWS Serverless, CI/CD

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Back‑End Developer to design, build and maintain production‑grade cloud applications in a modern AWS serverless environment. The role involves autonomous problem‑solving, close collaboration with Agile teams and delivering high‑availability services for global customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and operate production‑ready business applications with 24/7 support requirements.
• Design and develop scalable backend solutions using Node.js and AWS serverless technologies.
• Monitor and operate applications using AWS CloudWatch.
• Apply cloud‑security patterns and concepts to solutions and deployments.
• Develop system solutions aligned with defined quality and delivery requirements.
• Identify risks and impediments and proactively resolve or escalate them.
• Implement and maintain automated unit and end‑to‑end testing.
• Follow coding, compliance and unit‑testing standards.
• Design, configure and operate CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code and automated deployment practices.
• Prepare system and technical documentation in accordance with relevant standards.
• Liaise effectively with customers, team members and external vendors.
• Proactively share knowledge and mentor other team members.
• Participate actively within an Agile/Scrum environment.

Required profile

• 10+ years of production experience with Node.js, especially in serverless environments.
• 5+ years of automated testing experience, including unit and end‑to‑end testing.
• 5+ years of hands‑on AWS serverless experience (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS).
• Strong experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Proficiency with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Solid knowledge of AWS cloud technologies including Kubernetes, CloudWatch, Kinesis, S3, and virtual networking.
• Experience in monitoring, log analytics and cloud‑security best practices.
