B2B Sales Consultant

About the role

The B2B Sales Consultant will operate within a leading commercial technology environment, focusing on vehicle fleet management and IoT solutions. Based at the Randburg head office, the role requires a mature professional to manage end‑to‑end sales pipelines and expand the company’s market footprint.

Key responsibilities

• Identify emerging commercial opportunities and drive new business acquisition in the corporate B2B sector.
• Structure, negotiate and interpret legally binding contracts to secure long‑term partnerships.
• Deliver tailored vehicle fleet management solutions and value propositions.
• Meet and exceed monthly and annual installation and sales targets.
• Maintain and leverage an active client database to generate repeat and add‑on business.
• Balance pipelines to achieve a mix of first‑time clients and expansion business.
• Provide end‑to‑end customer service and resolve account queries.
• Continuously assess IoT and telematics products to maintain expert knowledge.
• Prepare and deliver high‑impact corporate presentations to diverse stakeholders.
• Maintain daily and weekly sales activity metrics and submit performance reports.

Required profile

• Relevant Diploma or Degree with formal sales training or professional sales qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of external B2B sales experience in FMCG, pharmaceutical, IoT or telematics sectors.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable personal vehicle.
• Advanced interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Desirable: experience with vehicle fleet management or telematics systems.
