Automation Support Specialist – RPA & Blue Prism

About the role

The Automation Support Specialist will ensure smooth onboarding, monitoring, and lifecycle management of RPA solutions, including bots, workflows, scripts, and virtual employees. This position supports the enterprise automation strategy by guaranteeing reliability, compliance, and the delivery of business value.

Key responsibilities

• Understand operational requirements during design and initiate procurement of hardware, software, and licenses.
• Facilitate system access, verify installations, and support the setup of virtual employees for production deployment.
• Manage credential validity, set up and monitor Blue Prism schedules, and provide proactive and reactive support to keep automations running successfully.
• Oversee end‑to‑end automation lifecycle: deployment, upgrades, ongoing support, and retirement.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to align automations with governance standards and identify improvement opportunities.
• Document processes, fixes, best practices, and maintain records in Alfabet.

Required profile

• National Certificate (minimum qualification) and mandatory Blue Prism® Associate Developer Certification (AD01).
• At least 1 year of proven experience supporting Blue Prism Control Room operations.
• Hands‑on experience with RPA tools such as Blue Prism, UiPath or Automation Anywhere.
• Strong SQL and troubleshooting abilities.
• Familiarity with financial services processes is advantageous.
