Auditor (CA(SA) qualified or near qualified) – Pretoria

About the role

A well‑established accounting and audit firm based in Pretoria is seeking an ambitious professional to join its audit team. The ideal candidate will be a qualified or nearly qualified CA(SA) or currently completing SAICA articles and approaching the end of the training contract.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct audit and assurance engagements for a diverse client portfolio.
• Prepare and review financial statements and related reporting.
• Perform financial accounting and reporting tasks.
• Manage client portfolios and maintain strong client relationships.
• Liaise with clients and senior team members throughout engagements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting and auditing standards.
• Support and mentor junior team members where applicable.
• Assist with additional accounting and assurance projects as required.

Required profile

• Qualified CA(SA), nearly qualified CA(SA), or currently completing SAICA articles.
• Relevant experience in accounting, audit or assurance.
• Comfortable working in a professional practice environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines.
• Good communication and client‑facing skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
