Attorney – Medical Negligence & Personal Injury Litigation

About the role

Oracle Services is expanding its legal practice and seeks experienced attorneys to handle complex medical negligence and personal injury litigation across South Africa. The position can be permanent or on a consultancy basis, with appointments made in Bloemfontein and other regions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage medical negligence claims from inception through finalisation, including cerebral palsy, surgical negligence, and retinopathy of prematurity cases.
• Handle personal injury matters, notably Road Accident Fund (RAF) claims.
• Draft pleadings, negotiate settlements, and oversee case management independently.
• Represent clients in court, ensuring high standards of professionalism and client focus.

Required profile

• Admitted attorney with strong litigation and court experience.
• Proven ability to manage complex legal matters independently.
• Attention to detail, professionalism, and client‑centric approach.

Required skills

• Advanced drafting and negotiation abilities.
• Comprehensive case management expertise.
