ATM Team Leader

About the role

The ATM Team Leader will support the Operations Manager within the Cash in Transit (CIT) division at our Witbank branch. The role ensures that all ATM and CIT activities are performed according to established procedures, schedules, and security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct ATM investigations and provide feedback on missed loads.
• Maintain daily updates on balancing, SLA checks, alarm testing, and breach follow‑ups.
• Track shortages per custodian and schedule refresher training.
• Download and spot‑check FLM footage, perform equipment inspections and error reporting for all ATM brands.
• Manage timekeeping for dedicated vehicles and oversee ATM billing processes.
• Coordinate takeover swaps, balancing, and auditor assistance for multiple bank clients.

Required profile

• Clear criminal record and clear disciplinary record.
• PSIRA accreditation with at least Grade C qualification.
• Cash In Transit (CIT) certificate and firearm competency (handgun qualification).
• At least three years of experience in the security industry or a similar role; supervisory experience is advantageous.
• Valid driver’s licence (advantageous) and own transport (advantageous).
• Ability to work under pressure, irregular hours, and handle confidential information responsibly.
