Assistant Manager Sales Technical Expert

About the role

The Assistant Manager Sales Technical Expert provides systems, administrative and analytical support to ensure effective coordination of projects, data analysis and stakeholder engagement across internal teams, dealers and suppliers. The role focuses on improving operational efficiency, maintaining accurate information and supporting business processes within Toyota South Africa Motors.

Key responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination and execution of system‑related projects, track progress and provide status updates.
• Gather business requirements, analyse operational data and prepare reports, dashboards and summaries for management.
• Maintain system records, logs and documentation, manage correspondence and meeting coordination.
• Act as central liaison between internal teams, dealers and suppliers, coordinating queries and ensuring timely resolution.
• Provide user guidance on system functionality, troubleshoot incidents and support training initiatives.
• Monitor workflows, identify efficiency improvements and ensure compliance with internal procedures and audit requirements.

Required profile

• NQF Level 5 qualification in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, Sales Management, Marketing or related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a system‑related or business support environment with exposure to project management principles.
• Strong administrative experience with record‑keeping and documentation management.
• Experience in business or data analysis, including data collection, validation and reporting.
• High computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
