About the role

The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager supports the delivery of exceptional guest experiences in the hotel’s dining outlets, ensuring service standards are consistently met and teamwork thrives.

Key responsibilities

• Report for duty punctually in full uniform and uphold appearance and grooming standards.
• Lead by example, promoting a positive working relationship with all colleagues and ensuring adherence to hotel policies.
• Provide professional, friendly, and warm hospitality to internal and external guests.
• Guide servers and food runners, communicate service requirements efficiently, and maintain clean work areas.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of food, beverage, dessert, coffee, tea, and wine menus to advise guests.
• Handle cashiering procedures, operate POS systems, and manage payment methods accurately.

Required profile

• Demonstrated leadership ability and a commitment to leading by example.
• Strong teamwork orientation and the capacity to foster cooperative relationships.
• Excellent communication skills for briefing staff and assisting guests.

Required skills

• Proficiency in operating POS (point‑of‑sale) systems and cash handling.
• In‑depth knowledge of food and beverage service standards and menu details.
