Assistant Financial Accountant – Reporting

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Financial Accountant (Reporting) to join a dynamic finance team in the chemical manufacturing sector. Reporting to the Reporting Accountant, you will support the financial reporting function through preparation of monthly reports, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, audit support and statutory compliance. The role involves collaborating with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial information for decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse monthly financial reports for management review.
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting cycles.
• Provide audit support and gather required documentation.
• Ensure statutory compliance with relevant regulations.
• Support the reporting accountant in ad‑hoc financial analyses.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in a finance or accounting environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with SAGE X3 ERP system.
• General experience working on an ERP platform.
• Finnivo experience is highly advantageous.
