About the role
Based in Cape Town with relocation to Indonesia, this full‑time position supports the Palm Oil Estates Operations Department. You will lead field teams on a plantation, ensuring efficient daily operations and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Manage palm‑oil plantation field teams.
- Oversee daily field operations such as planting, harvesting, crop care and road maintenance (PDCA).
- Coordinate transport of harvested fruit from the estate to processing mills.
- Analyse field productivity data to identify performance and process improvements.
- Mentor and up‑skill field workers.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, forestry or a related field.
- Approximately 35 years of experience in agriculture or field‑based operations.
- Supervisory experience managing field teams.
- Experience coordinating harvesting logistics and transport to mills.
- Ability to analyse productivity data and drive improvements.
- Comfortable living and working in remote areas.
- Experience with multicultural teams and willingness to learn languages.
