Assistant Factory Controller – Mosselbay

About the role

Nestlé is seeking an Assistant Factory Controller to join its Mosselbay manufacturing site. The role supports the Factory Controller by delivering accurate product costing, variance analysis and financial reporting to help drive profitable operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed product costings, standard cost budgets and revisions, ensuring timely submission.
• Conduct weekly, monthly and yearly variance analysis and produce related reports.
• Support new product development teams with feasibility cost studies.
• Maintain SAP data integrity, train shop‑floor staff on SAP usage, and oversee material and labour control.
• Manage petty cash disbursement and replenishment, and monitor factory fixed costs.
• Prepare monthly raw and packing material working capital reports and assist with period‑end close activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and ad‑hoc projects, providing decision‑support analyses such as “what‑if” scenarios.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum three years of experience in manufacturing accounting, preferably in FMCG or a similar environment.
• Strong compliance orientation and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP for cost accounting and data management.
