About the role

Our client is a respected organisation in the financial services sector, providing professional accounting and auditing services. The role supports the audit engagement team while contributing to the firm’s commitment to high industry standards, continuous learning and technical excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing audit engagements and support the audit training office.
• Work with large clients and groups, ensuring excellent service delivery.
• Implement and monitor the application of IFRS for SMEs.
• Utilise audit software such as CaseWare, Probe and RaidSoft during engagements.
• Assist with asset transactions, restructuring activities and maintain quality control of financial statements.
• Provide technical guidance to audit team members and ensure compliance with regulations and auditing standards.

Required profile

• Qualified CA(SA) or AGSA, or at least passed CTA.
• Relevant auditing experience within an audit‑firm environment.
• Strong administrative, organisational and analytical abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and communicate effectively.
