Assembly, Repair, Maintenance and Overhaul Electro‑mechanical Technician

About the role

Join Baker Hughes' Drilling Services AMO team to assemble, test, and maintain cutting‑edge drilling equipment. You will work unsupervised on down‑hole tools and surface instrumentation, ensuring reliability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints and parts lists.
• Perform assembly, repair, preventive and scheduled maintenance on factory equipment.
• Execute quality‑assurance activities to meet manufacturing, engineering and ISO requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and customers to provide technical guidance and troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Diploma or relevant degree in a technical field.
• 5+ years of maintenance experience in electro‑mechanical drilling functions.
• Previous experience with Baker Hughes is preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving ability.

Required skills

• Reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Working with wiring diagrams and assembly prints.
• Use of general hand tools.
• Use of precision measuring equipment.
• Electro‑mechanical drilling maintenance.
