About the role
Old Mutual believes in Africa's potential and values a diverse talent pool. The company is seeking motivated, energetic individuals to join its insurance business as Aspiring Financial Advisers. The role focuses on advocating for customers, understanding their lifelong financial aspirations, and delivering tailored advice. It is an entry‑level position based in Potchefstroom.
Key responsibilities
- Discern customers’ financial needs through consultative conversations.
- Provide sound financial guidance and recommend fit‑for‑purpose strategies.
- Execute agreed financial solutions and support clients throughout implementation.
- Identify sales opportunities and promote appropriate products.
- Strengthen customer relationships by delivering excellent service.
Required profile
- Motivated and energetic with a robust entrepreneurial mindset.
- Minimum qualification: Matriculation Certificate.
- Action‑oriented, collaborative and able to balance stakeholder interests.
- Strong customer focus with the ability to build trust.
- Effective communicator with good oral communication skills.
