About the role
The Mpumalanga Provincial Administration is recruiting a full-time Artisan Production Grade A Carpenter for its Ermelo Maintenance Services unit. The position is based in Ermelo, Mpumalanga, and pays R253 341 per annum (OSD).
Key responsibilities
- Execute artisan production work.
- Carry out repairs, inspections and quality assurance.
- Ensure legal compliance and prepare reports.
Required profile
- Grade 12 certificate plus an appropriate trade test certificate.
- Experience as a tradesman aid.
- Willingness to work overtime and stand by.
- Ability to work under pressure.
Required skills
- Technical analysis knowledge.
- Computer-aided technical applications.
- Knowledge of legal compliance and technical reports.
- Problem-solving, decision-making, planning and organisation.
- Listening, communication and interpersonal skills.
