Article Clerk & SAICA Trainee Accountant – Vereeniging

About the role

This position is with a top auditing and accounting firm that has a branch in Vereeniging. The successful candidate will join the team as an Article Clerk while completing the SAICA training programme, gaining hands‑on experience in audit and accounting.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake audit and accounting tasks in line with SAICA training requirements.
• Assist senior accountants with client engagements and preparation of financial statements.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support the preparation of audit work‑papers.
• Travel to client sites as required, using own vehicle.

Required profile

• BCom or CTA (accredited by SAICA) currently in progress.
• Strong interest in auditing and accounting.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Afrikaans.
• Good academic record, including Matric.
• Team player with focus and determination to study while working.
• Own car and a valid driver’s licence.
• Preferably residing in the Vereeniging area.
