Application Engineer - Mechanical

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Application Engineer to join our manufacturing team in Olifantsfontein. You will work on custom‑designed heavy industrial machinery, including centrifugal and axial fans, and act as the technical bridge between our engineering department and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with management to improve customer experience and identify new business opportunities.
• Visit client sites to gather technical requirements and define project scopes.
• Prepare detailed proposals, specifications, and documentation that align with client needs.
• Lead projects through design, execution, and installation, ensuring timely delivery.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for assigned customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; eagerness to learn is essential.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
