Angular Developer – Backend Systems (Stellenbosch)

About the role

IQbusiness is looking for a skilled Angular Developer to join its technology team in Stellenbosch. The role focuses on developing and maintaining backend systems that support real‑time, high‑impact engineering solutions. This full‑time, on‑site position offers exposure to global projects and technically challenging environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance backend functionalities using Angular and related technologies.
• Maintain existing features and implement new capabilities to meet business needs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration of front‑end and back‑end components.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to uphold quality standards.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of software development experience, preferably in web technologies.
• Engineering degree (Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or similar) is preferred.
• Willingness to grow and adapt in a fast‑moving, diverse environment.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript.
• Solid experience with Angular (preferably version 10 or higher).
• Familiarity with C++ and Python is advantageous.
