About the role
Old Mutual is recruiting an Advancing Financial Adviser based in the KwaDukuza area (Ballito, Stanger, KwaDukuza, Mthunzini or Darnall). The appointment will be made from the designated group in line with the Employment Equity Plan of Old Mutual South Africa and the specific business unit.
Required profile
- Minimum of Matric or equivalent.
- At least 12 months' financial services experience as a Financial Adviser.
- Completion of the Long-term Insurance Class of Business.
- Additional FAIS requirements such as Investments Class of Business, RE5 and an FSCA-approved qualification are advantageous.
- NQF Level 5 Higher, Advanced or Occupational Certificate or equivalent.
- Valid driver's licence and own car, and a clear criminal and credit check.
Required skills
- Computer literacy and excellent written and verbal communication.
- Consultative selling, identifying customer needs and sales opportunities, and qualifying prospects.
- Sales data management and sales software.
- Strategic selling and strengthening customer relationships.
