Advancing Financial Adviser

About the role

Old Mutual is hiring an Advancing Financial Adviser in Polokwane. The adviser provides advice on a specific range of products to a specific allocated market and is individually accountable for achieving results through their own efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Customer service: handle simple customer inquiries and receive visitors, referring complex matters to colleagues
• Solutions analysis: assess routine inquiries against established standards and protocols
• CRM data: keep basic customer details accurate and record follow-up actions and notes from each sales call
• Clarify customer needs using a multilevel sales script
• Prospect and build relationships with allocated potential customers, acting as first point of contact for queries and complaints
• Follow mandatory procedures to meet quality standards and regulatory and internal codes of conduct
• Support business development and identify potential customers through information, referrals and recommendations
• Select and enter data into spreadsheets or standard formats, and contribute to a network of people, technologies and ideas inside and outside the company

Required profile

• NQF Level 5 qualification (Higher, Advance or Occupational Certificate) or equivalent
• Appointments are made from the designated group in line with the Employment Equity Plan of Old Mutual South Africa and the business unit
